Recipes:

Survivor's Stir Fry

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups FD (Freeze-Dried) Chicken
  • ¾ cup FD Onion
  • 1/3 cup FD Chili Peppers
  • ½ cup FD Green Bell Peppers
  • ½ cup FD Broccoli
  • 1 t FD Cilantro
  • 1 t Chili Powder
  • ½ t Cumin
  • ½ t Garlic Powder
  • ¼ – ½ t Salt

Directions:

Add 2 cups of water and let sit for 10 minutes, then sauté in coconut oil until browned. Serve over rice.

 

Champion's Chili

Ingredients:

  • 1T Chili Seasoning
  • 1t Chili Powder
  • 1/4 cup FD Celery
  • 1/2 cup FD Bell Peppers
  • 2T FD Onion
  • 1 cup FD Beef
  • 1/4 cup FD Corn
  • 1 cup Tomato Powder (available from Honeyville)
  • 1 1/2 cups Quick Cook Beans

Directions:

Add 6 cups of water and heat for about 15 minutes.

 

All-Day Oatmeal

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup Oatmeal
  • 2 t Coconut Oil
  • 3 T Powdered Milk
  • Drizzle of Honey
  • ¼ cup FD Blueberries
  • Sprinkle of Cinnamon
  • Pinch of Salt

Directions:

Add one cup of hot water and let sit 2 minutes for chewy fruit, up to 20 minutes for fully hydrated fruit

 

Toughen-Up Tabbouleh

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Quinoa
  • ½ cup FD Celery
  • ¼ cup FD Bell Peppers
  • ½ cup FD Onion
  • ½ cup FD Tomatoes
  • 2 T Olive Oil
  • ½ t Ground Oregano
  • ¼ t Salt
  • Freshly Squeezed Lemon (if you’re lucky!)

Directions:

Rinse quinoa and cook for 15 minutes in 2 cups of boiling water. Meanwhile, rehydrate vegetables according to package directions and mix with olive oil, seasonings, and lemon. Combine with quinoa and serve.
